They also open the album with 'Go Swiftly', which builds gently into vocal-tinged breakdown and drops into a deep tribal groove. It builds with slow attack pads and bass gains more presence. Hats play a big part in the swing aspect and create an interesting counter-rythym. The breakdown provides space for the bass to hit the spotlight and turn the groove back on. Very trancy with a subtle build. 'Desire' by Sharon and Robert doesn't mess around and build using congas, vox, with a pad breathing in the background. By 2:00 the tracks heads deep into tech-house. Shakers play around vox samples until 3:50 when djembe drumming adds a little tension just before the breakdown. A flute then brings a melodic diversion, until the bass is reintroduced and builds into a slow sexy groove. Flame on Fire also get 'Science is God' up and running quickly, but build it into a driving sonic train. Sub-bass sustained notes underly an offset bass line. Pads and djembe fill out the rest of the aural space. After a breakdown just after 3:00, a break-beat kick provides a different take on events and almost drops the track into oblivion before bringing things back on track. Image 'Once (Original mix)' by Parham and Dominic Plaza show tech intent right from the outset. A dark,brooding intro keeps things off kilter with discordant vocal pads and slowly brings things up to the breakdown. By the time the track takes off again, the progession continues to build on same motif. This track builds very slowly and lends itself to late-night,deep sets. Snake Sedric brings something different with 'Tone', still in tech-house but with a psy touches. The rythmic interplay between pads, bass and mid-range synths create a galloping groove that constantly evolves melodically. A synth rise introduces break-beats and builds to peak at 5:00 when the kick comes back in and the original theme returns. Also a late-night track. 'Technology' by Shuma starts off on dark tip, and with the majority of percussion being tribal in nature.It starts quite minimal, and builds progressivly into a dub-infused groove. The drop after the breakdown slots in nicely and provides more tech-stabs and drum variation to keep things interesting. 'ElevenT1 (Brisker and Magitman rmx)' by Andre Absolut keeps the album on the tech-house track, with an off-beat pad show a little reggae attitude, but when the track drops in at 2:30, we start heading more into the trance side of things. The energy of track picks up a bit until 4:50 when it starts thinning for the breakdown, doesnt come to an absolute stop, but keeps the vibe up using arps. The track drops in again with attitude and a slightly more bouncy groove and builds into an upbeat mood. Djembe's and a building pad provide the canvas for a stab to slowly build and bring in the bass line in 'Hold On'. Manuel Duego gets the groove going early and sets a tribal-house direction which changes slightly when am almost euphoric pad is introduced, steering towards more trancey waters. The breakdown sees break-beat kicks change the vibe, but allow for the 4-to-the-floor kick to take things up a notch.[/code:19qrf8sv]
